Usage Policy

Last updated: 1 April 2026

This Usage Policy governs how you may use the RingDesk AI service. It exists to protect you, your callers, and other users of the platform from abuse. Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

  • Send automated call summaries and notifications to yourself or your team
  • Integrate with your business calendar, CRM, or communication tools

2. Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Service to:

2.1 Illegal Activities

3. Call Recording Compliance

Laws governing call recording vary by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you comply with all applicable call recording laws, including obtaining required consents. RingDesk AI automatically plays a brief recording notification at the start of calls in jurisdictions where this is required by default (UK, EU). For the United States, requirements vary by state — one-party consent states (federal standard) vs. all-party consent states (CA, FL, IL, WA, etc.).You must configure your account appropriately for your jurisdiction.

4. Outbound Calling Rules

If you use the outbound AI calling feature (Pro plan), you additionally agree:

  • All contacts you upload have provided prior consent to be called by your business
  • You maintain suppression lists and honour opt-out requests immediately
  • You comply with calling hours restrictions (e.g., TCPA restricts calls to 8am–9pm local time)
  • You do not use the feature for cold calling of consumers in jurisdictions where this is prohibited without express consent
  • Your outbound scripts comply with applicable advertising standards and are not misleading

5. Consequences of Violation

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account immediately for material violations
  • Remove or disable specific call flows or scripts that violate this policy
  • Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
  • Retain evidence of violations to comply with legal obligations

Account termination for policy violation does not entitle you to a refund.
